Mariam co-hosts the BBC Sounds podcast Pressed alongside Adeola Patronne, unapologetically keeping it real by providing culturally relevant commentary on topics such as colourism, micro-cheating, and fake friends.

She was the first Black British influencer to launch a solo clothing collection, working with ISAWITFIRST to curate a 52-piece collection. Mariam’s authentic vlog-style format is a regular feature on her YouTube and TikTok channels, as well as her iconic styling videos and make-up tutorials. She has partnered with brands such as Nike, Footlocker, Sky, and Ghost Fragrances.

In 2021, Mariam embarked on a new challenge and founded inclusive beauty brand MIMA Cosmetics, challenging norms in the industry and celebrating natural beauty no matter what.
