Bradford City Signs Alex Jones on Two-and-a-Half-Year Contract

League One team Bradford City have signed the striker on a two-and-a-half-year contract from Championship club Birmingham City. Previously, the 22-year-old moved to Port Vale in August on loan after joining the Blues in 2015; he moves to Bradford following the expiration of his loan this month.

Jones conveyed his excitement at the contract: “As soon as I knew a team the size of Bradford were interested in me, I was always drawn to them more than the other teams interested in me.

“It was good to get out on loan and get some first team experience, and I think I’ve taken my chance and managed to get a move to Bradford.”
