Emylia Hall’s latest novel is named Novelicious Book of the Year

A Heart Bent Out of Shape by Emylia Hall has been named Novelicious’ Book of 2013, beating The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty; The Flavours of Love by Dorothy Koomson; Life After Life by Kate Atkinson; and Necessary Lies by Diane Chamberlain.

Set in the glittering Swiss city of Lausanne, A Heart Bent Out of Shape follows Hadley Dunn during her year abroad. However, while the year starts out with great promise, it soon turns to tragedy. Hadley is left trying to figure out what happened that fateful night but the truth will take her down an even more dangerous and complicated path.

Novelicious, who are dedicated to promoting Women’s Fiction, said of A Heart Bent Out of Shape:

“We were utterly blown away by this novel. Vivid, heartbreaking and beautiful in equal measure. We can’t recommend this highly enough. Congratulations to Emylia Hall.”
