Jordan Morris Wins MLS AT&T Rookie of the Year

The Seattle Sounders forward has had one of the most celebrated rookie campaigns of all time in 2016, during which he set an American rookie record and led his team with 12 goals (the second-highest total for a rookie in MLS history) and 34 regular season appearances.

Morris is signed to the richest Homegrown contract in MLS history and last week it was clear to see why as he celebrated his Rookie of the Year win, taking almost 45 percent of the combined player, media and club vote – approximately 15 percent more than the runner-up.

The Rookie of the Year award is voted on by MLS club management, media, and current MLS players.
