Helen Carr

Helen is a writer and cultural historian.

She discovered her love of history from an early age as she regularly visited castles, forts and ancient monuments, eager to follow in the footsteps of her great grandfather, E.H Carr, the renown historian, diplomat and author of What is History. Helen writes and researches for television and radio, and is also a producer for historical and art historical documentaries. She believes that history can, and should be, made accessible to all and hopes that her dynamic nature and passion for her subject, comes through within her writing. In her forthcoming factual history, Helen aims to transport the reader into the turbulent fourteenth century within the backdrop of the Hundred Years War and the glorious age of chivalry and betrayal.
