Peter Walker


Peter Walker is a political correspondent for the Guardian. His book, 'Bike Nation: How Cycling Can Save the World', will be published in April 2017.

He has previously worked for Agence France-Presse, among others, and reported from countries including China, Iraq and North Korea. At the Guardian he also co-runs the award-winning Bike Blog and was named as one of the 50 most influential people in British cycling by a bike industry magazine. He has been a regular cyclist since giving up a safe graduate job to work as a bike courier in London and Sydney.
