Richard and Judy continue exclusive book club with WHSmith
Richard and Judy have signed a new four-year deal with WHSmith to continue their hugely successful Richard and Judy Book Club.
The couple, who have been working exclusively with WHSmith since September 2010, have recommended more than 100 titles to book-lovers, creating Britain’s largest Book Club.
The news comes as Richard and Judy’s Summer Book Club makes an anticipated return with eight more, must-read novels, available in WHSmith stores across the country from today.
The titles include: I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh; A Song for Issy Bradley by Carys Bray; Funny Girl by Nick Hornby; The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair by Joel Dicker; Summertime by Vanessa Lafaye; Us by David Nicholls; A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman and No Safe House by Linwood Barclay.
“Judy and I are thrilled that The Book Club will be continuing for another four years, giving us a chance to keep doing what we both love, reading and recommending fantastic titles for our devoted Book Club audience, said Richard. “With something for everyone, wherever you may be, make sure you pick up one of these scorchers this summer – they won’t disappoint!”
Judy continued: “These eight summer reads really do show the breadth of literary talent we have, not just in the UK, but worldwide. Reading is such a passion of mine, not only do I enjoy finding debut authors and giving them a platform to showcase their work, it’s amazing to also celebrate talented authors we already know and love. I thoroughly recommend picking up one of these must-reads this summer.”
