Troika Joins Forces with JGG

London based management company Troika, which represents over 300 clients ranging from UK national treasures Graham Norton, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, to global screen stars Michael Fassbender, Lena Headey and Nick Frost, and breakthrough Hollywood talent such as Juno Temple and Daniel Kaluuya, was founded in 2005 by partners Michael Duff, Melanie Rockcliffe and Conor McCaughan. Troika will continue to be run by the existing executive team and the partners will join JGG’s Shareholder and Operational Boards with immediate effect.

Troika’s addition to JGG delivers a team of experts with a wealth of experience in scripted drama and comedy, and complements the Group’s existing Entertainment division. JGG provides bespoke services to over 1,500 clients from the worlds of film, television and radio, athletes, musicians, authors, digital influencers and, increasingly, media rights holders, with over 30 years’ experience in the integrated management space from its Group locations of London, New York and LA.

JGG’s portfolio counts clients such as Steve Aoki, Ant and Dec, Louis Tomlinson, Travis Barker, Holly Willoughby, Jozy Altidore, Nicole Guerriero, Reggie Yates and James Arthur.

Its professional services division provides business affairs, accountancy and legal services to the Group’s clientele. JGG is increasingly investing in intellectual property creation and exploitation in areas such as development finance for film, television, live, recorded music and music publishing. Troika will now be able to access this range of services for its clientele.

With the Troika team joining the Group it will result in excess of 300 colleagues focused on delivering professional career advice to clients in Sports, Music and Entertainment. The union of these complementary organisations was cemented over a shared vision of building a leading integrated international management company that reflects the increasingly international nature of our business.

Troika Partner Gary O’Sullivan commented: “The world of drama has changed enormously in recent years, and talent’s position has shifted within it. As clients’ expectations of their representation grow with those shifts, we want to be able to meet and exceed them, across more services and on a global level. Merging with a partner with the same philosophy and driven by the principles of client first management, means that we help meet our clients’ ambitions as they both create and star in the very best of on screen entertainment.”

Neil Rodford CEO of JGG said: “I am delighted that we have been able to persuade the Troika team to join us. Our combined client roster creates a depth and breadth of clients, which puts us at the forefront of the entertainment industries on both sides of the Atlantic. We are committed to investing the resources needed to ensure we deliver a first-class service. I look forward to working with my new colleagues and deploying the resources needed to ensure we can excel at what we do in the eyes of our clients.”
