YM&U Group Acquires Strike Management
Integrated talent management business, YM&U Group, has acquired UK based sports agency Strike Management it has been announced.
Founded over 15 years ago by Chris Lomas, Strike Management represents a number of elite football players, including Darren Fletcher, Ryan Shawcross and James Chester. The acquisition sees the company join the Group as an extension of its existing Sports division, whose athlete and manager clients include, Harry Winks, Alex McCarthy, Jozy Altidore, Kyle Walker-Peters, Jonathan Hogg, Jordan Rhodes, Kemar Roofe, Sam Warburton, Dylan Hartley, Sean Dyche and Chris Hughton.
An integrated management business, with clients from the drama and comedy, music, television, influencer, literary and wider sports world, the acquisition of Strike Management will see both the expansion of its UK Sports client roster and an increase in its breadth and depth across the Football division in particular.
Lomas, who joins as Director, Football UK & Europe, will work with the newly expanded UK Sports team to continue growing and developing its clients’ careers. Working with the division’s Executive Chairman, Mick McGuire; Managing Director, Mike Wallwork; and Rob Segal, its Head of Football UK & Europe, Chris will help to expand its client portfolio and increase its international presence in the football sector.
