Edinburgh Fringe Festival
This year’s festival the following five performers at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival are not to be missed:
Jess Robinson returns to Edinburgh this August with a brand new show and a live band.
Having won three awards in 2015 with her show ‘The Rise of the Mighty Voice’, Jess comes back this year
with a bigger, brighter and louder spectacle! Combining her unbeatable impressions with song, dance and comedy
‘Impressive’ has already received mountainous praise.
Colin Hoult returns as his most prized character, Anna Mann, in ‘A Sketch Show for Depressives’.
Having previously starred in Derek, Life’s Too Short and Murder in Successville, Colin stars in this original piece which critics describe as “sheer comic gold”. Ms Anna Mann will teach you a thing or two about putting down your black dog or at the very least will make you want to throw him a bone.
Seann Walsh, the star of BBC’s Live at the Apollo as well as E4’s Virtually Famous returns to Edinburgh with a brand new show, ‘One for the Road.’
Having recently been called ‘the best observational comic of his generation’ this will be a show not to miss.
Shappi Khorsandi is celebrating her 40th year in Britain and where else to do it than in Edinburgh! In ‘Oh My Country! From Morris Dancing to Morrissey’
Shappi shows her love for all things British in the way only she knows how- with pure inappropriateness. If you want to see a version of patriotism you havn’t
quite seen before then this is for you.
Ruth Bratt returns to Edinburgh for two occasions this year. Ruth will be joining three other female artists in ‘ The Glenda J Collective’, a one off improvisation performance on Friday 5th August as well as bringing back the Olivier Award winning ‘Showstopper! The Improvised Musical’ for the 9th year running. The show which has recently recorded its own series for Radio 4 is loved by so many and has had residencies across UK and in Hong Kong.
