Ali Al-Habsi joins Brighton on loan

The Omani stopper has joined the Seagulls on a month loan.

He has joined Championship rivals Brighton and Hove Albion from Wigan on a month long loan.

Speaking about the move Brighton manager said Sami Hypia:  “With David [Stockdale] currently being injured, we felt that it was important to bring in another experienced goalkeeper to the club.

“Ali certainly fits into this category, as someone who has played at the top level for both Bolton and Wigan in the Premier League and for the Omani national team.”
