Also known as ‘Sad Papi’ Brandon Skier was born and raised in Los Angeles and worked in fine dining and Michelin starred restaurants for over 10 years.
Like many, Brandon found himself out of work due to the pandemic and pivoted to sharing viral cooking videos on TikTok. His relaxed approach, with elevated yet simple recipes, and his dark aesthetic amassed a cult-like following of “papitas” of over two million.
Brandon has partnered with Madein Cookware, Hedley & Bennet and Zwlling. He has been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Fast company, and more.
