Journalist, author, and television presenter Julia Bradbury is one of Britain’s best-loved media personalities.

Described as both “authoritative and warm” by one critic, Julia has achieved some incredible feats across her impressive career.

Credited with revamping Sunday night primetime television on BBC One’s Countryfile, she has launched three television channels, turned walking into a primetime hit on the BBC and ITV, and presented national-favourite television shows such as Watchdog and Top Gear.

In addition to her on-screen achievements, Julia has written several books about walking and launched The Outdoor Guide Foundation, raising money to donate equipment to state primary schools and improve accessibility to enjoying nature in the UK.

Some of Julia’s most recent work includes her award-nominated documentary Julia Bradbury: Breast Cancer and Me and her 2023 series for channel 4, Julia Bradbury’s Irish Journey. 

In 2023, Julia also published her book ‘Walk Yourself Happy’ which subsequently became a Sunday Times Bestseller, and in 2024 brings the chapters to life by introducing her Walk Yourself Happy retreats, which are a blend of expert-led sessions, engaging group conversations, and revitalising nature-based activities inspired by the pillars of the book.
