Writer, journalist and broadcaster, Kayleigh Rattle is working on her debut novel.

Kayleigh Rattle is a journalist, copywriter and broadcaster specialising in food and drink. Her words can be found in The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, Evening Standard, Time Out, BBC Good Food, Waitrose Food and more. She’s the former managing editor of Co-op Magazine and as a copywriter has crafted copy for the likes of Apple, the BBC, CaffèNero, HelloFresh, The Michelin Guide, EasyJet and Craft Gin Club.  

Kayleigh has been longlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Prize for Fiction 2023 and the Bath Novel Award 2023, and shortlisted for the Adventures in Fiction Spotlight First Novel Award 2023. She specialises in novel writing and loves nothing more than unearthing stories about forgotten women. She’s currently working on her debut novel which focuses on an overlooked woman – and period of time – in history.  

Kayleigh is a member of the Guild of Food Writers and is regularly called upon to speak about food and drink on national radio, and to judge food industry awards such as The National Fish and Chip Awards and Ocado’s Next Top Supplier.
