Role : Transactional Finance Manager (AP/AR)

Reports to: Senior Finance Manager

Location: Great Portland Street – 3 days per week in the office

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on AP / AR Manager to oversee our Accounts Payable and Client Accounting teams. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys managing small teams, keeping payments and collections running smoothly, and providing clear oversight across a busy finance function.

Team Management

• Lead and support the Accounts Payable team of two and Client accounting (AR) team of four.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones, set objectives, and support team development
• Manage workloads and priorities for both teams
• Act as the escalation point for AP and AR queries

Accounts Payable

• Oversee end-to-end AP processes across all divisions
• Check and review supplier payment runs
• Monitor aged creditors
• Ensure the AP inbox is monitored and queries are resolved promptly

Accounts Receivable

• Oversee invoicing, cash allocation, and credit control
• Review and approve weekly client payment runs
• Monitor aged debt, collections, and DSO reporting
• Ensure the Client Accounting inbox is monitored and client queries are resolved promptly

Month-End & Reporting

• Prepare monthly debtors reporting with cash collections, DSO and commentary on performance and risks
• Prepare monthly creditors reporting
• Complete and review month-end bank reconciliations

Skills & Experience

• Experience managing AP and AR teams and strong transactional background
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident communicator with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
• Experience supporting month-end close and audits
• Exposure working in a multi-entity or international environment, including exposure to US operations is desirable
• Experience in the entertainment, media, or creative industries is desirable
