Ant & Dec


Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly met at the age of thirteen on BBC Children’s drama, 'Byker Grove'.

Their characters, PJ and Duncan, were mates in the show and Ant & Dec soon became firm friends in real life.


Ant & Dec are signed exclusively to ITV: a deal originating in December 2000. During this time they have hosted, and continue to do so, an array of hit shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!Britain’s Got Talent and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (now into its 14th series). In 2015 they hosted the BRIT Awards and returned for another year in 2016, as well as presenting a one-off 90-minute special that followed the work of HRH The Prince of Wales in the documentary When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of The Prince’s Trust.


Since 2001, Ant & Dec and their shows combined have won more than a staggering 31 National Television Awards (including Most Popular Entertainment Presenters for 15 consecutive years), three British Comedy Awards, six BAFTAs, and a variety of other industry accolades.


In 2014, Ant & Dec hosted a live arena tour around the country called Takeaway on Tour; a live adaptation of the TV Show it played to over 300,000 people.
