The signing introduces the formation of a unique partnership with Anderson’s current representatives, Brand Creative Group, and will further enhance YMU’s extensive international talent roster.
Anderson began a career as a model when she was scouted at the age of 14. She has walked for countless luxury brands - Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Chloé, Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, to name a few – and notably Victoria Secret, becoming the first black British model to become a Victoria Secret Angel.
She has also established herself as a highly sought after broadcaster, most recently enjoying success fronting ‘Glow Up’ for BBC and Netflix.
In 2016, she created LAPP (Leomie Anderson, the Project, the Purpose), a body positive ethical sportswear brand and online platform promoting female empowerment and promoting awareness on women’s mental health, rights and body image.
She is an accomplished speaker with two Ted Talks under her belt and has been invited to speak at both University of Cambridge and Oxford.
Co-Founder's of Brand Creative Group, Archna Sawjani and Manny Ezugwu shared "We are excited to join forces with YMU. Leomie is not only a remarkable model but also a powerful voice and role model. Together with YMU, we are excited to continue to support her journey, amplify her influence and explore new opportunities that align with her vision especially around diversity and inclusivity. This partnership marks the beginning of a dynamic collaboration. We look forward to achieving great success with the YMU team."
