Team Overview: Global Entertainment is a division of YMU, which develops, guides, and executes the careers of our world-class talent in the traditional Entertainment and Social first space. The division is proud to represent an industry leading group of 50+ broadcasters, creatives, artists, musicians, creators and authors, supporting and amplifying them across their commercial, live, literary, podcasting, and strategic business needs. This individual will work across a variety of clients that sit within the entertainment space as well as creators.
About the job: As a Talent Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of talent clients, working closely with Talent Directors/Executive Directors and specialist teams across the business. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring seamless account management while identifying opportunities to support their long-term growth and success.
This role requires a proactive self-starter who can confidently manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships, solve problems quickly, and maintain the highest professional standards. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support client commitments and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Client & Account Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and their wider teams.
- Manage complex and fast-moving diaries, ensuring clients have clear visibility of their schedules.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, logistics and itineraries.
- Attend shoots, TV recordings, events, red carpets, press appointments and other client commitments as required.
- Liaise with clients' wider teams, including stylists, hair and make-up artists, producers, agents and publicists.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems and client documentation.
- Track projects, opportunities and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
- Identify and implement improvements to workflow, processes and account management practices.
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate.
Contracts & Commercial Administration
- Manage contracts and oversee the invoicing process to ensure timely payment.
- Review, negotiate and administer a broad range of commercial agreements.
- Develop a strong understanding of industry-standard deal terms and commercial structures.
- Prepare and manage internal deal documentation and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and identify any potential conflicts of interest.
- Exercise sound judgement, diligence and attention to detail when handling contractual matters.
Brand Partnerships
- Work closely with commercial teams to identify, secure and deliver brand partnerships.
- Manage partnership opportunities from briefing through to execution and reporting.
- Support clients in delivering campaign commitments and commercial obligations.
- Evaluate commercial opportunities and ensure alignment with client strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies and industry stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of pitch materials, proposals and presentations.
- Support the generation of new business opportunities for both clients and the wider company.
Broadcast & Development
- Build relationships across the television, radio, digital, production and entertainment sectors.
- Pitch clients for broadcast opportunities and manage bookings from negotiation through to completion.
- Support clients throughout programme development, production and delivery.
- Attend development meetings and production company pitches.
- Coordinate production logistics and schedules.
- Draft meeting notes, action plans and project updates.
- Develop an understanding of the evolving entertainment landscape across linear, streaming, digital and emerging platforms.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience within talent management, entertainment, media, broadcasting, influencer management or a related industry.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of partnership opportunities.
- Confidence working with contracts, negotiations and deal administration.
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
- Strong administrative and operational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
