Author, musician, podcaster, and actor Blindboy, engages his audience with an unusual touch of realism
Having risen to prominence as a part of his band The Rubberbandits, Blindboy’s solo work has allowed him to explore wider avenues. There is a very authentic feeling of freedom he produces, inviting listeners and participants to speak openly, without judgement, and about any subject. Outspoken, informed, and empathetic, his creativity sets out to change people’s view of mental health and the deafening stigma that surrounds it. Blindboy’s satirical humour has seen him pen two best-selling books, The Gospel According to Blindboy and Boulevard Wren and Other Stories, and front the BBC television show Blindboy Undestroys the World, in which he explores contemporary issues impacting the UK today.
Blindboy’s latest innovative creation, The Blindboy Podcast, reaches further into the eclectic spectrum whilst attracting a global audience in the millions. Blindboy is currently working on his third book.
