One of radio’s most enduring and well-loved broadcasters, Sara Cox is known to millions of listeners across the UK.
Before moving to Radio 2 to present her teatime show, she was best known for presenting of the Radio 1 Breakfast Show for 4 years, recording ratings of over 8 million listeners. Sara’s recent TV work includes two series of The Great Pottery Throw Down, and three series of Back in Time For.., Love in the Countryside, and most recently, Britain’s Top Takeaway (BBC2). Sara is due to start filming series 6 of her book club show Between the Covers this Spring.
Sara is also in-demand as a writer and columnist, having written columns in both The Sunday Mirror and The Guardian. In 2019 she released her autobiography ‘Till the Cows Come Home which quickly became a bestseller. In May 2022, Sara’s debut novel, Thrown was released, reaching number 2 in the Amazon Best Seller list, and she is currently working on her second novel.
